Help Brick Plant Dune Grass

The township will be distributing dune grass plants on Saturday.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials announced they will have 12,000 dune grass plants available for planting Saturday.

The plants, which the town is receiving from the Ocean County Board of Freeholders, will be distributed on Saturday from approximately 8 a.m. until noon at the Brick Police Substation on Route 35.

The plants, once planted and allowed to grow, help stabilize the dunes that protect homes and businesses during nor'easters and hurricanes.
