Help This Dog Get Back To His Owners In Brick

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township's animal control officer is trying to get a black poodle found wandering in the township back to its owners.

The poodle was found wandering in Winding River Village on Monday morning and the woman who found the pooch, Lisa Sullivan, is trying to get him back to his owner.

"I took him to my vet and he is not microchipped," she said, but the dog appears to have been groomed recently.

A-Academy Animal Control, which handles animal control services for Brick Township, shared Sullivan's post to try to locate the owners.

"They could be elderly and missing their dog," the company's Facebook page noted. "Contact Brick PD or A-Academy Animal Control of you know where this dog belongs. Lisa Sullivan is holding for now."
