Hour-By-Hour: It's Frigid Now, But 'Heat Wave,' Rain On The Way For Brick
Wind chills will remain below zero today, but by Sunday, the temps should reach nearly 50 degrees. The bad news: It's going to rain.

That snow you see on the ground? That could be almost gone by the end of the day Sunday, as Brick residents will get a heat wave of sorts.
The brutally cold temperatures made everyone want to stay in bed will continue through the day today. The National Weather Service’s wind chill advisory remains in place, as winds in the 15- to 17-mph range will make the it dangerously cold.

On Saturday, precipitation is expected, beginning as snow in the afternoon and changing over to rain in the evening as temperatures rise to a high of 47 degrees by midday Sunday -- a heat wave after Friday morning’s single-digit temperatures.
If you are traveling to other parts of the state, be aware that temperatures are expected to stay colder, so the rain down here will be snow, sleet and ice, particularly in the northern part of the state.

Sunday is going to be rainy much of the day, tapering off in the evening and giving way to cloudy skies for Monday, when temperatures fall back into the teens and the wind makes it feel sub-zero again.
