How Cold Will It Get In Brick Township?
The next several days aren't going to be pretty, with bitter cold and high winds, National Weather Service says.

How cold will it get over the next several days? You don’t want to know.
Today won’t be too bad. It will be sunny, with a toasty high of 20 degrees. Winds will be from the northwest at 16 to 22 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 36. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to 14 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday will start out relatively mild with a high of 36 degrees, with southwest winds from 8 to 17 miles per hour, and gusts up to 26 miles per hour. Snow showers are possible after 5 p.m.
Things will deteriorate rapidly on Saturday night, when temperatures dip to 15 degrees with a wind chill of zero. Snow showers will continue, with widespread blowing snow. Snow could be heavy at times and accumulations between two and four inches are possible. Southwest winds will kick up to 18 to 23 miles per hour, switching over to northwest winds at 28 to 33 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles per hour.

Sunday there’s a chance of snow showers and blowing snow, then partly sunny with a high of 20 degrees. Winds will ramp up to 32 to 37 miles per hour,with gusts of 60 miles per hour. Snow accumulation of less than half an inch are expected.
“Be prepared for power outages, possibly lasting more than 24 hours,” according to a NWS high wind advisory. ”Trees ad tree limbs will be knocked down Minor structural damage to homes is possible. Do not park vehicles where trees can fall on them. Make sure all cell phone and electronic devices are full charged. If you have generators please make sure they are working properly and properly ventilated. Expect bridge restrictions.”
The worst of the cold comes on Sunday night when temperatures fall to 4 degrees. It will be partly cloudy and windy.
Monday will be sunny with a high of 22 degrees. Monday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 16 degrees.
Temperatures will moderate on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a high of 35 degrees. But more snow is likely on Tuesday night and there’s a chance of snow on Wednesday. Wednesday night temperatures turn colder again, with a low of 13 degrees.
