ID Sought On 'Rambling, Confused' Man At Brick School: Police

BRICK, NJ -- Brick police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who was inside St. Dominic's School Wednesday afternoon, who was "rambling incoherently and seemed confused."
Police were called to St. Dominic's School on Old Squan Road about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspcious person, Brick Capt. Vincent Pacitti said.
The man, seen in photos taken from surveillance video in the school, had been inside the school office and the church rectory speaking with staff, Pacitti said. School and church personnel told police he was "rambling incoherently and seemed confused," Pacitti said.

The man left in a gray sedan (possibly a Toyota) before police arrived, he said.
Brick police maintained a presence at the school until all students were dismissed, Pacitti said.

The police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man, so it can be determined if he requires any assistance.
