Investigation Underway At Brick Walmart

A heavy police presence at the store off Route 88 was in place for more than three hours Monday night.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police were at the Walmart on Route 88 investigating an unspecified incident Monday night.

The nature of the investigation was not confirmed, but the investigation, which started sometime after 7 p.m., was still going on after 10 p.m., witnesses told Patch.

Ocean County Scanner News reported crime scene tape was used to cordon off an area outside the store; witnesses told Patch the activity was in the area of the garden center.
