It's The Most Dangerous Time Of The Year...Driving Through Brick!

Driving through Route 70 this weekend in Brick is like driving on the Indy 500. The Parking Lots are crazy!!! Slow Down & Be Merry

People are hustling and bustling doing their last minute Christmas shopping. But honestly it is crazy out there! Some of the latest experiences are aggressive drivers. Cutting people off and driving recklessly is going to end up hurting someone. Sometimes a little common courtesy goes a long way to ensure we all get there safely. Especially when it comes to parking spots. Everyone is looking for a spot especially over in the ShopRite Kohl's parking lot which is not easy. The ShopRite employees Park all the way at the far outer edge of the lot by RT 70 to make room for customers . Unfortunately the Kohl's employees park at the front spots all along the closest area to the store . The traffic trying to get in and out of there is even more unbelievable! When shopping in Kohl's there are very few shopping carts. Many people go up to the registers and ask to borrow the cart when someone is checking out. I've seen people refuse to give up their cart even when they have small light packages. Again it is the time of year to remember that consideration is important and to put yourself in that same position. These last few days are hurried and some people don't have the time but to shop last minute.

Many store clerks and employees also work hard especially to restock the stores and leave things nice. It is important that people also leave things nice if they're not going to buy things especially when looking through a pile of folded clothes. There are also many seniors out there that need assistance in the stores. It is nice to offer help to those that need to find things or perhaps lift their packages into their cars. It is so nice to hear people say Merry Christmas and happy holidays when doing the simplest things in the stores. People seem to be so joyous, and appreciative of all the things that are important. It is a special time of year for friends and family but it is extra special when you make time to help others!!
