BRICK, NJ — A 30-year-old Jackson Township man was arrested on drug charges this week after police conducted a search of a search of a vehicle in a Brick Township storage unit, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.
Cory Winston was arrested after he was found to be in possession of heroin, cocaine, MDMA (more commonly known as Molly), prescription pills, digital scales and various other paraphernalia associated with drug distribution, authorities said. The arrest was made after Stafford Township police – working with a number of other agencies – executed a search warrant of a vehicle and storage unit in Brick Township along with a hotel room in Absecon, police said.

Police said while officers attempted to arrest Winston, he became combative and struck several detectives while they were attempting to place him in custody.
