Man Charged With Bias Intimidation After Lakewood Crash: Reports
The man can be heard screaming anti-Semitic comments after the three-car accident in a video that is circulating on Facebook.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Jackson Township man has been charged with assault and bias intimidation after an angry confrontation that occurred Wednesday after a three-car crash in Lakewood, according to reports.
Elijah D. Chandler, 34, of Jackson, is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $41,000 bail on four counts: third-degree bias intimidation; third-degree threat of violence; fourth-degree assault/offensive touching, and a fourth-degree charge of "inconvenient annoyance," according to jail records.
The Asbury Park Press reported Chandler was arrested Wednesday after the crash at the intersection of East Kennedy Boulevard and Clifton Avenue, and that Chandler was one of the drivers.

Police accused Chandler of assaulting one driver and then yelling at bystanders, making bias statements and threatening harm, the Press report said.
The Shore News Network reported Chandler accused one of the drivers of running a red light, and began screaming anti-Semitic comments at the man and bystanders. Part of the confrontation was caught on video, which has been circulated on Facebook, shows the man screaming at a crowd of bystanders, telling them to "go back to your country," among other comments.

No one appeared to be injured in the crash, according to the reports.
