Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Worth Nearly $800K Sold In Brick

Some lucky person who bought a Jersey Cash 5 ticket in Brick for last Saturday’s drawing is about to become nearly $800,000 more comfortable.

State lottery officials announced Tuesday that two tickets -- one of which was sold at Cigars & More, 2140 Route 88, Brick -- have the winning numbers for the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Nov. 22 drawing. That jackpot was worth $1,582,562, so each ticket is worth $791,281, executive director Carole Hedinger said.

The other ticket was sold in Monmouth County at Vingo Wine & Spirit, 444 Ocean Blvd., Long Branch.

The winning numbers were: 13, 18, 21, 24 and 36. The retailers each will receive a bonus check for $2,000.

Hedinger also noted that 9,731 other players won $258,090 in cash prizes in the Saturday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 272 players won cash prizes of $462 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 9,459 players won $14 each.
