Jersey Mike's Donates $13K To Midstreams PTO

BRICK, NJ -- Supporters of Midstreams Elementary School were a hungry bunch in March: their purchases at Jersey Mike's Subs during the Month of Giving resulted in a donation of more than $13,000, according to the company.

Store manager Geo Kautz of the Jersey Mike's at the corner of Route 88 and Midstreams Road presented the school with a check for $13,287.16 in April. The donation, to the Midstreams PTO, will be used by the PTO to benefit the students.

The amount raised was the highest in New Jersey and the sixth-most of the more than 1,000 participating Jersey Mike's stores in the country, the company said.

"Great job and thank you Midstreams Families!" an announcement on the Brick school district website said.
