LA Fitness Is Hiring, Offers Memberships For Brick Site
The general manager of the new fitness center said it will open soon. if you're looking for work, they are starting the hiring process.
BRICK, NJ — If you've been waiting for LA Fitness to open at Brick Plaza, there's good news: that opening may not be too far off.
The company has announced it is starting the hiring process for staff for the fitness center that is replacing Sports Authority. Plans for the renovation received approval a year ago from the Brick Township Planning Board as part of a wider makeover at the longstanding shopping center.
Michael Eisenberg, the general manager of the new LA Fitness, said they are hiring now for fitness staff, janitorial workers and for staff for its Kids Klub babysitting services.

He said the Brick location is anticipated to open sometime in the next few weeks. The gym will include indoor basketball courts and a lane pool, among other amenities.
"We are really in the hiring process," Eisenberg said.

You can inquire at the trailer in Brick Plaza, where information on memberships also is available. The trailer is on the Cedar Bridge Avenue side of Brick Plaza, to the west of the movie theater parking. Eisenberg said he also can be reached at 732-569-5536.
The LA Fitness renovation reduced the building by 9,000 square feet, which will create 50 additional parking spaces, Chris Cole of Federal Realty Management Group, which represents Metrovation, said before the Brick Planning Board in December 2017.
In addition to the work at LA Fitness, demolition work is underway at the site of the former Mansion nightclub. (See below.) That site is being turned into Gravity Vault, an indoor rock-climbing facility.
