Lakewood Police Investigating Shooting Of Toms River Man
The incident Thursday left the man with an injury to his arm, police said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ -- A Toms River man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm Thursday that remains under investigation by Lakewood Township police.
Lakewood Police Officer Eduardo Vega responded to the area of Ashley Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive for a report of shots fired about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, police said, and upon arrival, officers located evidence suggesting that someone had been shot.
Additional officers responded to Monmouth Medical Southern Campus in Lakewood, where they located a gunshot victim, police said; a 35-year-old Toms River man had a wound to his arm that did not appear to be life-threatening.
