Latest N.J. Blizzard Photos and Videos From Brick

As the nor'easter bore down on the Jersey Shore, Brick residents have stepped outside to capture the impact.

BRICK, NJ -- A foot of snow, 60-mile-per-hour wind gusts, flooding, power outages and a statewide state of emergency: those are the effects so far in the winter storm that began bearing down on New Jersey and Brick overnight.

More than a foot of snow has fallen in Brick so far, and and officials expect the snow to continue falling at a rate of three inches per hour throughout the day.

Most residents hunkered down at home, and many are sharing their photos of the storm’s impact on Brick Township, where more than a foot of snow had fallen by 11 a.m. Saturday.

Jill Bednar of American Image snapped one of a pickup truck stuck in the snow in front of her home in Brick. The Ocean County Sheriff and Brick Township officials have warned residents to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary, such as those who are first responders.
