Lead And Seed Students Reach Out To Brick Peers
Middle school's presentation on organizations gives group a chance to show off its work.
Lake Riviera Middle School’s Lead & Seed program participants took the opportunity recently to show what it has to offer as part of the Dream and Steam event at the school.
This event showcased different programs that the students can participate in.
Brick Township Police Officers Tara Schinder and John Alexander from the Community Policing division were there with students from the school to promote Lead & Seed -- a youth empowered, adult supported, environmental approach to drug prevention for middle school and high school age students.

The program aims to build on the fifth-grade D.A.R.E. (Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education) program and help continue to reduce youth alcohol, tobacco and illicit drug use all the way into high school.
