Leaf Collection Dates For 2019 Announced In Brick
If you're doing yardwork this weekend, take note of the dates for leaf pickup for 2019.

BRICK, NJ — The leaves may just barely beginning to fall, but Brick Township has released the list of dates when it will conduct its leaf collections in town.
The leaf collections will happen twice for each recycling day, township officials said. The first week of collections will begin Monday, Oct. 21.
The schedule of collection weeks is as follows and is based on your recycling day:

- Wednesday recycling pickup: Oct. 21 and Nov. 25
- Thursday recycling pickup: Oct. 28 and Dec. 2
- Friday recycling pickup: Nov. 4 and Dec. 9
- Monday recycling pickup: Nov. 11 and Dec. 16
- Tuesday recycling pickup: Nov. 18 and Dec. 23
Leaves should be bagged and left at the curb by 6 a.m. on Monday for the pickup week. Do not put branches, twigs or other debris in the bags.
Leaves also can be taken to the township's recycling yard on Ridge Road, which is open Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (not including holidays). The Ocean County Recycling Center on New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood will accept leaves as well.
