Man Facing Child Porn Charges Ousted From Jackson Zoning Board: Report

Anthony Marano also is suspended from jobs with MONOC and Six Flags pending the outcome of the charges.

JACKSON, NJ — A Jackson Township man who was arrested late last month on child pornography charges has been removed as a member of the Jackson zoning board, according to a report.

The Asbury Park Press reported Anthony Marano, 29, was ousted in a unanimous vote by the Jackson Township Council on Tuesday night.

Marano was arrested Sept. 26 and charged with aggravated assault and possession of child pornography, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said at the time of the arrest. Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor's office, said Marano retrieved a loaded handgun from a bedroom when authorities came to execute a search warrant at his home, and had to be told several times to drop it before he finally cooperated.
