Man Gets 7 Years In Jail For Molesting 6-Year-Old

Carl Creadle pleaded guilty to the February incident, the prosecutor's office said.

An Ocean County man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with no possibility of parole in the sexual assault of a 6-year-old child in February, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Carl Creadle, 47, of Lakewood was sentenced Monday by Judge Wendel E. Daniels to one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault to 15 years in prison with 15 years of parole ineligibility in the incident, to which hed pleaded guilty earlier this year, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor’s office. The sentence also includes stipulations of parole supervision for life, Megan’s Law registration and a no-victim-contact order under Nicole’s Law, he said.

The incident occurred in February in Lakewood, and the child was known to Creadle, Della Fave said.

The matter was investigated by Sgt. Jason Steele and Detective Stephanie Bayha of the prosecutor’s office, and Lakewood Police Officer Edgardo Vega Jr., he said.

Debra Giordano of the prosecutor’s Victim/Witness Advocates Office assisted the family. The defendant was found not to be repetitive and compulsive under the Avenel evaluation.
