Man Sought In Child Abduction Attempt At Brick Walmart: Police
Breaking: Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Brick Township police.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are seeking leads on the identity of an older white man in connection with an attempted child abduction at the Walmart in Brick on Thursday.
The incident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. at the Walmart on Route 88, Sgt. Neal Pedersen said.
Police Officer Raymond LaPoint, who was patrolling the parking lot at the store, was told the man tried to grab the wrist of a 10-year-old boy inside the store, Pedersen said. The boy pulled free and then told his mother, who was several feet away from him when the incident happened.

The man is described as an older white male with white/gray hair, between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, the boy told police.
The man did not say anything and left when the boy pulled his arm free, Pedersen said.
