Spring is here, and it is a wonderful time to book your special birthdays and teatimes at the Mathis House. The Spring Victorian Afternoon Tea is available daily from Tuesday to Sunday. Mid-week seating starts at 11 AM, and teatimes are held by reservation every hour on the hour, with the last seating at 3 PM. Weekend seating times are 11 AM and 3 PM. The Spring Victorian Afternoon Tea includes a choice of soup, a seasonal salad, a warm scone with clotted cream, lemon curd, and preserves, a variety of five tea sandwiches, and a plate of petite desserts with a pot of gourmet tea per person. The cost is $50 (plus tax and gratuity) for adults, $20 for children 12 years old and under, and free for children 5 and under with an adult. The mid-week cost is $40 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Seniors and the military receive a 10% discount. School Of Rock Brick

This April, the local sounds of youth music and community spirit are taking center stage. School of Rock Brick is proud to announce “Smells Like SPRING Spirit,” a neighborhood celebration of music and youth enrichment taking place on April 25 from 10AM to 2PM.
The event serves as a gathering spot for families to connect with local youth-centered community resources and explore the creative arts. The school will open its doors for an exhilarating experience featuring interactive activities and live music.
The highlight of the day is the “Join the Band” invitation, where visiting kids and teens are invited to step onto the stage and pick up an instrument. These drop-in sessions allow newcomers to experience the magic of making rock music in a real studio environment, guided by professional instructors.
The event also features a diverse lineup of community partners, providing a resource fair for family fun. Attendees can enjoy creative play and crafts, sweet treats, local eats, and friendly faces from other local youth-focused organizations.

The all new Cape May Renaissance Faire brings the days of yore and times of wonder to Cape May.

Hear ye, Hear ye! Prepare to step back in time as the Cape May Renaissance Faire announces its grand opening, and transforms the Cape May County 4-H Fairgrounds into a bustling festival, May 2 &amp; 3, 2026. The new event promises immersive and whimsical fun, fantasy, music, crafts, food and drink; providing a unique escape for families and the young at heart.&nbsp;

The Cape May Renaissance Faire aims to bring the rich traditions of medieval-era entertainment to the local community, blending historical flair with fantastical fun. Attendees can try their hand at archery and axe throwing, shop with various artisanal vendors, or watch the many entertaining performances on 4 stages. Patrons are encouraged to dress in clothing of the bygone area, as the mythical character they wish to be, or just come as they are.

Highlights of the Inaugural Season Include:
