The bridge is open to motor vehicle traffic again, the sheriff's office said.

BRICK, NJ — The Mantoloking Bridge reopened to traffic Wednesday afternoon, nearly four hours after the bridge got stuck in the open position, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.
The bridge got stuck in the open position and the sheriff's office sent a Nixle alert shortly before 1 p.m. about the issue. Motorists were warned to expect delays or seek another route.
A follow-up alert at 4:20 p.m. said the bridge had been reopened to traffic.
