Maple Leaf Park Man Faces Drug, Weapons Charges, Brick Police Say
The arrest is the result of a months-long investigation, police said.

BRICK, NJ -- A Maple Leaf Park resident is facing drug and weapons charges after a months-long investigation into narcotics distribution in the complex, Brick police said Friday.
Kayvon R. Tinnery, 23, of the 100 block of Sawmill Road, was arrested at his residence when police executed a search warrant at his apartment on Thursday, Detective Sgt. Henry Drew said.
Drew said the Brick Township Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed a court authorized search warrant and seized several different prescription legend drugs, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and a .22-caliber handgun, Drew said.

Tinnery was charged with possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, possession of a firearm while committing a narcotics offense, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of certain weapons, possession of prescription legend drugs (three counts), and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Bail was set by the Judge Robert M. Lepore at $150,000, with no option to post 10 percent.

Tinnery is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of bail.
