Mediterranean Restaurant Opening In Brick
Falafel Brothers opens its doors in Brick on Saturday, serving Mediterrean dishes with locally sourced food.

BRICK, NJ — If falafels and fava beans make your mouth water, you're in for a treat: Falafel Brothers, a Mediterrean restaurant, is opening in Brick this weekend.
The restaurant, in the Top Tomato plaza on Brick Boulevard, offers both vegetarian and meat dishes featuring Mediterrean favorites. In addition to falafel, the menu has hummus, salads, kabobs, and shawarma. Desserts include baklava and there is a vegan rice pudding made with coconut milk. There is a catering menu as well.
The restaurant is owned by Nedal Kwara and his brother Diaya Kwara. The family has over 45 years of experience with oldest brother Adnan Kwara owning Ibbys Falafel in Jersey City since 1996. Falafel Brothers was originally Ibbys Falafel in Freehold in 2008.

The restaurant's website notes the brothers source their fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets.
The grand opening in Saturday, and they're open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. The grand opening specials include 25 percent off all day, and one lucky person will win an all-veggie party platter worth $75.
