BRICK, NJ — Gym-goers, beware: Thieves are breaking into vehicles parked outside LA Fitness and other gyms in the area and stealing credit cards while people are inside the gym working out, Brick Township police said Wednesday.

Anthony Peters and Andrew Williams are accused of burglarizing vehicles at LA Fitness at Brick Plaza, "as well as other gym parking lots throughout the state," police said in a post on the department's Facebook page.

In the burglaries, the men are accused of going into the cars, taking credit cards and leaving all of the other belongings in place, "so the victims are unaware for as long as possible," police said.

The burglaries have been happening since early September, police said, and arrest warrants are out for Williams and Peters.
