More Than 1,500 Brick Homes Lose Power In Outage
Jersey Central Power and Light reported two outages at first but later revised that to a single outage in the northern side of town.

More than 1,500 homes were without power in Brick Township Sunday evening as the result of an equipment failure, Jersey Central Power & Light is reporting.
On its power outage map, the utility reports an outage in the area of Sally Ike Road near the Garden State Parkway. Initially the map showed two outages, one near Herbertsville Road, the second closer to Lanes Mill Road, both of them affecting a reported 1,500 customers.
But that information was revised just before 11 p.m. to a single outage affecting a handful of customers.
