The New Jersey State Police posted a video to Facebook this week of a trooper who encountered an excited couple whose happiness led them to a case of lead foot.
Trooper Olsen pulled the car over on Jan. 15, according to the footage from the dashcam video posted on Facebook. State Police did not say where the incident occurred.

The driver told Olsen he was speeding because he and his wife were on the way to tell his parents that she was pregnant and they were excited by the news.
The State Police post said:
"So, you're on your way to tell your parents that you and your wife are expecting a baby. You're excited. Maybe you're going a little fast. Then a trooper stops you. He asks you where you're headed. You tell him. Then this happens...
Well done, Tpr. Olsen, well done."
