National Geographic Adventurers Coming To Brick

Dave and Amy Freeman have kayaked, canoed, hiked and dogsledded their way around North America, sharing their adventures with schoolchildren along the way via computer.

On Friday night, you can meet them and hear their adventures in person, as the couple, named National Geographic’s Adventurers of the Year for 2014, come to Jersey Paddler in Brick.

The couple most recently paddled and hiked 2,000 miles from Minnesota to Washington, D.C., sharing the trip on their Facebook page.

The program, at the store, 1756 Route 88, begins at 5:30 p.m.
