Need Help Understanding Your Finances? Come To Brick's Financial Literacy Fair
The event includes free child care to allow parents to focus on the information being provided.
BRICK, NJ — Lake Riviera Middle School in Brick is hosting a Financial Literacy Fair on Monday evening.
The fair, titled "Secure Your Family's Financial Future: A Community Workship," is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the school off Beaverson Boulevard.
"Building on the concepts from our Financial Literacy curriculum and the insightful conversations we’ve had with our families, we are excited to host a night dedicated to your family’s financial wellness," the organizers said.

The school district has partnered with the Brick Chamber of Commerce to provide "clear, actionable advice from a diverse panel of professionals," the organizers said.
"Whether you are looking to build a budget, save for your child’s future, or navigate complex financial decisions, this evening is for you," the organizers said.

Topics will include: banking, insurance, investments, college planning, credit cards, loans, wills and trusts, and short- and long-term financial goals.
Child care will be provided in the school's library and gymnasium by eighth graders from Lake Riviera Middle School.
