N.J. Storm Update: Flooding, Dangerous Road Conditions In N.J. As Snow Still Expected
More snow was expected to fall Wednesday morning as portions of the state already were dealing with flooding and dangerous road conditions.

More snow was expected to fall Wednesday as portions of the state already were dealing with flooding and dangerous road conditions through Tuesday.
Forecasters adjusted their predictions, reducing the amount of snow expected but issuing a Coastal Flood Advisory along the coast. A light snow fell overnight throughout the state.

The Jersey Shore was already experiencing some flooding and rising tides (see photo below). A Winter Storm Advisory was in effect for all New Jersey counties except for Sussex and Warren.

Here is what is expected now:
- Snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches.
- Periods of snow are expected Wednesday morning. The snow has the potential to fall at a moderate rate at times.
- Accumulating snow was expected affect travel through Wednesday morning, including the rush hour commutes. The road conditions will likely deteriorate during times of heavier snowfall rates. Remember... bridges and other elevated surfaces tend to become slippery first.
