Ocean County Event Aimed at Helping Seniors Find Their Passions

Harrogate Retirement Community Hosts Inspiring Event for Local Seniors

     Harrogate retirement community is opening its doors and allowing local seniors an inside look at the opportunities that lie ahead.

     “It Happens at Harrogate” is an expo-style event, during which current residents of the community will share and demonstrate the passions they’ve pursued since living at the senior living community, including everything from crafty ladies and budding artists to synchronized swimmers, dog lovers and wine connoisseurs.

     Inspirational speaker Christopher Ridenhour will kick off the afternoon with a motivating message about fostering passions, interest and expectations in retirement. Attendees will also enjoy cooking demonstrations and samples courtesy of Harrogate’s dining team; receive a customized event memento from local caricature artists; and having a chance to win a Fitbit, Lakewood BlueClaws tickets, wine bottles by Harrogate residents, fitness assessments, pool passes, art classes and much more.
