Ocean County Man Admits Sexually Assaulting 6-Year-Old
Carl A. Creadle will be facing 15 years in prison when he is sentenced, according to the plea agreement.

An Ocean County man has admitted to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old child, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
Carl A. Creadle, 47, of Lakewood entered a guilty plea Tuesday to first-degree aggravated sexual assault in the case, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. It stemmed from a February 2015 incident in Lakewood where Creadle assaulted the child, who was known to him. The conduct was witnessed by an individual who lived in the victim’s home, who then reported the incident to the child’s parents, Della Fave said.
Creadle was arrested March 1 after an investigation by Lakewood Police Officer Edgardo Vega Jr. and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Detectives Jason Steele and Stephanie Bayha. He has been held in lieu of $100,000 bail, no 10 percent option, in the Ocean County Jail since his arrest, Della Fave said.
