Ocean County Man Sexually Assaulted 2 Young Girls Numerous Times: Prosecutor

The victims, ages 7 and 8, told authorities the assaults had happened repeatedly, authorites said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ -- An Ocean County man has been jailed on charges he sexually assaulted two girls on numerous occasions, authorities said.

Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato and Lakewood Township Chief Robert Lawson announced the arrest of Salvador Gonzalez Amador, 43, of Lakewood, on Monday afternoon. He has been charged with two counts each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Amador was arrested Saturday on charges he victimized the girls, ages 7 and 8, on multiple occasions, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office. He was arrested by Detective Thomas Tiernan and Detective Sgt. Sandra Rodriguez of the Special Victims Unit of the prosecutor’s office, along with Lakewood Police Detective Nate Reyes.

Amador is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $300,000 bail, no 10 percent, as set by Superior Court Judge Wendel Daniels, according to Della Fave and Ocean County Corrections records. Nicole’s Law (no contact with the victims) has been implemented as well, Della Fave said.
