Pedestrian Hit, Driver Charged With DUI In Lakewood: Reports

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A man has been charged with driving under the influence after an accident that seriously injured a pedestrian in Lakewood on Saturday, according to a pair of reports.
The Asbury Park Press reported Ever Espinoza, 23, of Lakewood was arrested Saturday evening and charged with driving under the influence, quoting Lakewood police.
Espinoza was behind the wheel of an unidentified vehicle that struck the pedestrian about 11:30 p.m.The Lakewood Scoop reported Espinoza remained at the scene of the accident and was arrested, quoting police.

The pedestrian, who was not identified, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with serious injuries, the reports said.
