Police Seek ID Of Motorcyclist On Bike With No Plate

The man sped away when a Howell police officer tried to pull him over, and was seen in Brick headed toward Point Pleasant.

Howell Township police are seeking the identity of a man who sped away from a police officer who tried to pull him over because the motorcycle he was driving did not display a license plate.

Howell Chief Andrew Kudrick said Patrolman Eric Encarnation attempted to stop a motorcycle on Newtons Corner Road at Roberta Drive on Monday at about 5:45 p.m., after he saw the bike had no plate.

The motorcycle was gray/black and white, with a make and model that Encarnation could not immediately determine, Kudrick said. The operator was a white skinny male who appeared to be in his early 20s and was dressed in a long-sleeved baby blue-colored shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots and a bright blue and orange helmet.
