Police Warn Of Low-Flying Helicopters This Week
Power line inspections are planned in Manchester, police said.

Manchester Township police issued a Nixle alert Sunday telling residents of planned power line inspections this week.
Those inspections, by Jersey Central Power & Light, involve low-flying helicopters, the alert said.
They are expected to begin Monday and continue for two or three days, police said.

“A low-flying helicopter will be flying slowly (20-30 mph) along the power lines, and may hover at any time for a closer inspection. The helicopter scheduled for these patrols is a black and silver Bell 206 w/ registration (tail) number N321AW.”
The alert said residents should refer to the JCPL website for more details.
