OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Republican voters in Ocean County have chosen Frank Sadeghi to be the GOP candidate running in the November general election for the Board of Commissioners, according to unofficial results of Tuesday's primaries.

Sadeghi received more than 19,000 votes in the Republican primary to fill the seat held by Joseph Vicari, who is not seeking re-election after more than 40 years on the county's governing body, according to the unofficial results. His total was nearly triple the votes received by Francis Quinn, who was running under the Toms River First Republicans banner.

All other primaries at the county level and the 10th legislative district were not contested.
