Brick police are hoping someone can identify the man in the surveillance video.
BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say used a stolen credit card to buy more than $450 in items at Target on Tuesday.
The incident began at ShopRite, where a woman reported to police about 3 p.m. that her purse had been stolen from her shopping cart while she was shopping in the produce section of the store in the shopping center at the corner of Route 70 and Chambersbridge Road, Brick Sgt. Neal Pedersen said.
The woman received word from her credit card company shortly afterward of possible fraudulent charges on her card at area stores. One charge, for $462.36, at the Target at 570 Route 70, went through, he said.
