Rachel's Beach Cleanup At Windward Beach Set

BRICK, NJ -- The warmer days have everyone thinking about summer and the beach, and that means it's time to think about beach cleanups, too.

That includes the annual Rachel's Beach Cleanup at Windward Beach.

Rachel was a Brick Township student who started the cleanups as a community service project and turned it into an annual event.

This will be the seventh year of the cleanups, and it's set for April 30 from noon to 2 p.m.

Groups are welcome; rubber gloves and a pail or trash bag are suggested for each participant.
