Report Of Person In Water At Lake Riviera Proves Untrue: Brick PD
A search of the lake turned up no evidence of a person in the water, police said.

BRICK, NJ — A report that a person had fallen into the water at Lake Riviera on Friday proved to be untrue, Brick Township police said.
Police received a call about 12:45 on Friday afternoon reporting someone had fallen into the lake, Sgt. James Kelly said.
The Pioneer Hose, Breton Woods, Laurelton, and Point Boro fire companies responded with their dive teams to search the lake and Brick police also used a drone to search as well, Kelly said.

Detectives investigating the incident learned no one had fallen in after all, Kelly said, and the search was terminated.
The woman who reported the incident was suffering a medical episode, he said.
