BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are urging motorists to avoid Route 88 west in the area of Park Avenue on Christmas night due to a motor vehicle crash. Police said in a Nixle alert that the crash has brought down wires in the area. About 1,000 homes and businesses are without power as a result, according to Jersey Central Power &amp; Light.
