Quad tournaments are a fun way for children to begin the process of competing or a way to stay sharp between full tournaments. Children are grouped in quads (with 3 other children) and play against all the kids in their quad.
Our tournaments are open to both rated and unrated players. Results from rated players are sent to the US Chess Federation (USCF) which maintains all player ratings.
We can assist families who want to begin the process of having their children become USCF members, just let us know before the tournament.
