ShopRite Recalls Chocolate-Covered Raisins At 33 Stores

KEASBEY, NJ — ShopRite is recalling containers of Dearborn Farms Milk Chocolate Raisins due to potential mislabeling and an undeclared allergen.

The product may contain peanuts, a known allergen, which is not listed in the ingredient statement on the label.

The recall affects only ShopRite stores that are part of the Saker family ownership group, and Dearborn Market. (See a list of the stores below.)

Consumers who are allergic to peanuts should not consume this product. They should return it to the store for a refund or replacement. The product was pulled from store shelves after receiving a report of a customer complaint, ShopRite officials said.

The product being recalled is packaged in a 14 oz. plastic tub labeled "Dearborn Milk Chocolate Raisins" with a sell-by date of March 23, 2022 and a UPC bar code of 84343904314. No other product is being recalled.
