Show Your Support For Police Officers In Brick And Elsewhere

The Pioneer Fire Company paused to show its support for law enforcement. Share your photos of support with the Patch.

BRICK, NJ — As the country continues to mourn police officers who were shot to death in Dallas and Baton Rouge in recent days, the outpouring of support for law enforcement has come from many areas.

Law enforcement agencies have changed their Facebook profiles to various symbols of mourning for those killed -- five law enforcement officers in Dallas and three in Baton Rouge, and thousands of people have shared other photos of support.

The Pioneer Hose Company in Brick put together its own tribute to law enforcement, both local and in distant towns, and posed for a photo with their fire trucks that it then shared on the company's Facebook page.

"The word Brotherhood does not simply apply to one service in particular. Military, Police, Fire and EMS are all a part of the same team. Our purpose is to serve and protect our communities to the best of our abilities. When one of us are in trouble, we bound together as a family, and in this family no one fights alone. District 1 supports our brothers and sisters in blue," the fire company said in the post with the photo.
