Simon Appoints New General Managers to Jersey Shore & Jackson Premium Outlets

Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, recently appointed new general managers at two New Jersey Premium Outlet properties.

Janet Porter of Brick has been named Area General Manager at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and Eileen C. Wojton of Toms River will lead the management team at Jackson Premium Outlets. Porter who was serving as Area General Manager for Jackson and Liberty Village Premium Outlets will continue managing Liberty Village in addition to Jersey Shore Premium Outlets.

Porter and Wojton will leverage their decades of asset management experience to oversee the Premium Outlets’ operations, local leasing, security, marketing and budget functions. As part of their roles, they will also be responsible for forging mutually beneficial partnerships with the local business communities and maintain positive retailer to landlord relations in an effort to further advance the initiatives of each center.

An established member of the Simon team, Porter comes to Jersey Shore Premium Outlets from Jackson Premium Outlets, where she served as General Manager since 2013. Last spring Porter became Area General Manager for both Jackson Premium Outlets and Liberty Village Premium Outlets. During her time, at both properties, she utilized her 15-plus years of experience and successfully demonstrated strong financial and operational leadership, achieved local revenue goals and coordinated sizeable capital projects, including a food court renovation at Jackson Premium Outlets. Her background also includes key management and operational roles in the transportation, education and entertainment industries.

Porter holds a master’s degree in business administration, finance and management from Monmouth University in New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in computer information science from Elon College in North Carolina.

Wojton will utilize her more than 24 years of professional experience in management, budgeting, retail sales and customer service to further the success of Jackson Premium Outlets. Prior to joining Simon, she held positions in the banking industry and assembled a successful track record of achieving goals through persistent effort, strong follow-through and relationship building with vendors, employees and customers. Wojton also worked for a major department store, serving roles in sales, merchandising and management.

Wojton received a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from American University in Washington, DC.
