Simon Names General Manager at Ocean County Mall
Welcomes James Staveley into his new role

Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, recently appointed James Staveley to the position of general manager at Ocean County Mall in Toms River, New Jersey.
Staveley will utilize his over 25 years of experience in asset management and retail real estate to oversee Ocean County Mall’s operations, local leasing, security, marketing and budget functions. As part of his new role, Staveley will also be responsible for effectively leading a team of people who will create and enhance customers’ shopping experiences.
“We are pleased to welcome Jim into this new position at Ocean County Mall,” said Robert T. Guerra, regional vice president for Simon’s Northeast region. “I look forward to the contributions he will make in his new role to further the success at the property and Simon.”

Staveley brings a wealth of experience to his new assignment, having previously held a management position at a commercial real estate organization where he oversaw nearly 15 million square-feet of retail space via properties in eight different states and US territories.
“I am excited to assume the general manager position at Ocean County Mall in Toms River, a regional property in Simon’s impressive portfolio,” said Staveley. “The center is very attractive from a management perspective and I look forward to continuing to expand its role as a vital member of the Toms River community.”

Staveley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Old Dominion University as well as a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers.
