Soccer Teams Putting Best Feet Forward To Help Ailing Brick Boy's Family
The Soccer Moms for Charity are at it again, raising money to help a family faced with financial challenges due to medical expenses.

The family of Ryan Magnotta will get a helping hand this weekend -- or maybe it’s better to call it a helping foot -- when the Soccer Moms for Charity take the field and take on all comers.
The event, set for Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Drum Point Sports Complex, consists of informal soccer games and includes men’s games and women’s games. Teams are donating $20 per player -- all of which goes to the family -- and in addition to the host club, Twin County, there are expected to be teams from other local clubs.
If you are interested in playing in the event, contact Michele Kiernan by calling 732-581-6743 or emailing her at soccermomsforcharities@yahoo.com.

There will be a 50/50 drawing, a gift auction and more, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Magnotta family. Ryan Magnotta is battling chronic pancreatic disease that has resulted in frequent hospitalizations for the 10-year-old.
