Softball Tournament In Brick Set To Raise Funds For Move Over Campaign, Scholarships

BRICK, NJ — Softball teams from 16 law enforcement agencies will take the field Saturday, Oct. 14, for the Trooper Marc Castellano Softball Tournament.

The tournament raises funds for the Marc Castellano Foundation, which honors the New Jersey State Trooper who was killed when he was hit by a car during an investigation along Interstate 195 on June 6, 2010.

The foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that raises money for student scholarships, law enforcement families in need, the Move Over campaign, and other great causes.

Castellano was a Jackson Memorial High School graduate and lived in Howell with his family.

The tournament is free to attend and will feature food, drinks, entertainment, and contests.
