Engaged Couple Dies On Valentine's Day In I-195 Sports Car Crash
James Fusaro, owner of a vape company, and Christina McNamara had been engaged since 2016; they died at the scene, State Police said.

JACKSON, NJ — An engaged Jackson Township couple were killed on Valentine's Day in a fiery crash of a $200,000 sports car on Route 195, state police said.
James Fusaro, 26, and Christina McNamara, 25, died when the 2017 McLaren 570S went off the highway between the ramps for exit 22, hit an embankment, flipped and caught fire, New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
Fusaro, who was driving, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car, Goez said. McNamara was trapped in the car, he said. Both died at the scene of the crash, he said.

Fusaro was the owner of Liquid Labs, a Lakewood company that makes vaping products, according to his Facebook page. He also listed himself as the manager of a line of vaping liquids called Keep It 100. He and McNamara were engaged, according to a post on his page.
The McLaren 570S starts at $191,000, according to Car & Driver magazine, which says the car can reach 60 mph in less than 3 seconds and has a top speed of 204 mph. Goez said it has not been determined whether speed was a factor in the crash.

"The investigation is still ongoing," he said.
McNamara's sister, Stephanie, also was killed in a fatal car accident, according to snippets of a GoFundme campaign link on McNamara's Facebook page. Stephanie McNamara was killed Aug. 12, 2014 at the age of 19. An internet search for more on that crash did not turn up information beyond an obituary, which listed a brother, their father and some extended family. The daughters were predeceased by their mother, according to Stephanie's obituary.
