Sportsdome Agreement Before Council In Brick: Monday Manual
The township's zoning board is set to continue the hearing on Temple Beth Or's application to turn a funeral home into a synagogue.
BRICK, NJ— Welcome to the Sept. 12 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in the Brick area.
The Brick Township Council is scheduled to consider three ordinances for a second reading and a vote on Tuesday.
One is the amendment to the township's beach buggy access, which defines how the town will enforce keeping vehicles away from plant areas. It also would retain the current beach buggy season, through April 30.

The second is an agreement with the developer of the sports dome facility at the former Foodtown site that would allow payments in lieu of property taxes.
Also up for a final review and vote is an ordinance to address light pollution.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the municipal building at 401 Chambers Bridge Road. The full agenda is here.
On Wednesday, the Brick Township Board of Adjustment has a special meeting scheduled to continue its hearing on the Temple Beth Or application to turn a former funeral home into its new congregation site.
The continuation resulted from questions from the board to the congregation regarding the occupancy and parking needs, JerseyShoreOnline.com reported.
The zoning board meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the municipal building.
