Storm Watch: Heavy Rain, Flash Flooding Possible At Times Through Wednesday Morning
Relief is on the way by Thursday with sunny skies, moderate temperatures.

Some heavy rain and thunderstorms will be heading our way today and into Wednesday, which may lead to possible flash flooding in some areas of Ocean County, according to the National Weather Service.
Today: Mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Expect a high of 85 degrees.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, with a high of 73 degrees. Winds will be from the southwest at 8 miles per hour. There’s a 60 percent of precipitation. Patchy fog is possible.

Wednesday: Chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high of 83 degrees. Winds will be from the south at five to seven miles per hour, becoming light and variable. There’s a 50 percent chance of precipitation.
Wednesday night: Cloudy with a chance of shower and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low of 67 degrees. Winds will switch to the northwest at 11 to 14 miles per hour.

Thursday: Relief is on the way. Expect sunny skies with a high of 78 degrees. Winds will be from the northeast at 14 miles per hour.
Friday: More of the same, with sunny skies and a high of 79 degrees. The weekend is looking good.
